The Locanda del Glicine was born from a wish of harmony, from a search for an atmosphere suspended in the enchantment among history, nature and the culture of pleasure of the table, right in accordance with that kind of harmony wich was cultivated by Vincenzo Monaci in going back to his own origins with his wife Mariagrazia Schwendimann.
After a career as entrepreneur and manager of the industry he has committed himself to the field of culture becoming the president of the prestigious Eliseo Theatre in Rome and has given himself up to the rediscovery of his own roots by giving birth to a suggestive relais among the hills of Maremma.
The Locanda del Glicine has blown just like a flower right in the hearth of Tuscany among medieval walls and and the remains of Etruscan culture of the ancient village of Campagnatico, set in a natural scenery which is rich and plentiful, a place where the rhythm of human life is still being marked on the changing season.
